Business Interruption Specialist

I have over 44 years' experience in the Business Interruption (BI) Reviews, Business Continuity Management (BCM), Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Insurance Claims sectors.

My expertise and experience has been attained through working for major global insurance brokers (Willis, Sedgwick, JLT and Marsh).

I started my own BI Risk Consultancy in January 2023 - Cracknell Risk Consulting Limited.

Delivery of BI Review consultancy projects has been for hundreds of a wide range of clients in the UK and internationally across most sectors.  I have expert capabilities in BI Reviews, across the full supply chain spectrum, including risk assessment, risk quantification, insurance cover gap analysis and  recommendations for the BI insurance programme, BCM  and SCRM. 

In addition, I have successfully pursued a variety of medium to large BI claims for corporate clients, always based on maximising their recovery entitlement from their Insurers under their BI Insurance policy or from Water and Gas Utility Organisations under statute.

My previous experience in delivering business continuity and supply chain risk management projects, along with having managed and negotiated a number of medium and large BI claims for a range of clients, is brought to bear within my BI Review work.  This enables mitigation measures to be appropriately factored into the BI risk evaluation to provide a more realistic assessment and quantification of the BI exposures.

A chief concern I have is to address client needs.  I am focused on delivering solutions and high quality service that bring high levels of client satisfaction.
